Last Night is a Big Night in Lincoln-WoodstockMonday December 31, 2007 Lincoln-Woodstock is the place to be for New Years Eve. Not only can you enjoy the area’s great skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, skating, horseback riding and so much more, but you can help to ring out the old and bring in the new at your choice of events happening all over the region. One of the highlights of the season is the Second Annual White Mountain Holiday Magic LightPark, off Exit 28 of I-93 at the Branch Brook Campground. The LightPark will operate through New Years Day, so this is your last chance to go and see this amazing festival of lights. It’s only $10 per carload. Other events at Lincoln-Woodstock Area Businesses:The Lincoln-Woodstock Park and Recreation Department will offer skiing, skating and sledding (weather permitting) Monday, December 31st from 10am-4pm & 7-9pm (with special New Year's Activities) and Monday, January 1st from 10am-4pm. Franconia Inn on Easton Road in Franconia will be open to the public for dinner until 8:30 p.m. Enjoy the Champagne toast too! You can also take a Sleigh Ride (private rides are $100). The Indian Head Resort on Route 3 in Lincoln will ring in New Year with their Annual New Year's Eve Bash featuring LIVE music (The Switch), party favors, a midnight toast and breakfast buffet and much more. Brittany's Café & CJ's Penalty Box Pub at the Kancamagus Motor Lodge on Pollard Road, just off Rte. 112, will serve from 4-10 p.m. The menu will be a special New Year's Eve menu. Woodstock Station on Main Street in North Woodstock will be serving a selected upscale menu ranging from $18 to $30, specialty beers brewed on premises plus your usual favorites. The Common Man Restaurant on Pollard Road, just off Route 112 in Lincoln has a special holiday menu as well as its regular award-winning menu.
