Summer Splash 2007

Summer Splash Returns to Whale’s Tale

Summer Splash was held Friday, June 23. We had a great day, and hope to see everyone again next year!

It’s back! The very popular Annual Summer Splash at Whale’s Tale Waterpark returns to Lincoln, New Hampshire on Friday, June 22, 2007.

And, at Summer Splash, you can be among the very first to experience the thrills and spills of the amazing new Banzai Pipeline, the newest attraction at Whale’s Tale.

The Banzai Pipeline is one of the most unique, largest and thrilling rides in the entire country. During Summer Splash, you can experience it all for half the price of a regular admission.

For the incredibly low admission price of just $13 in advance ($18 at the gate), you and your family can enjoy an entire day of riding and splashing fun on all of the slides at Whale’s Tale.

Plus, you get some amazing, free, live entertainment. Devlin and Katz will provide musical entertainment; The Papermill Theatre will give a special performance of excerpts from Seussical The Musical and The Emperor's New Clothes. There will also be great games and contests and prizes.

Food is not included, but will be available, but you might want to bring your lunch and find a nice shady area or pull up some lounge chairs and enjoy a family picnic.

What a great day to spend with the kids, who will thank you again and again and again. Whale’s Tale is your place for summer fun. You can get tickets in advance by calling 603-745-6621 , at locations all over the region or online right here. Whale’s Tale is the proud Platinum Sponsor of Splash into Summer Weekend, which kicks off with Summer Splash.

The weekend continues on Saturday with Olde New England Day.  Visit the quaint village of North Woodstock and stroll down Main Street as it is filled with more than 40 Artisans and Crafters, sidewalk sales, great food, music all day on The Common (watch for updates on this year's performers), a Kids Fair with Fire Truck rides, Hay Wagon Rides, Face Painting, games and much more.

It all culminates with the Olde New England Day Brewfest.  Come and sample some of the finest beer in the country as all of New Hampshire’s microbrewers gather under the giant tent and break open some of their remarkable brews.

And, this year, get your boots and cowboy hat ready for a Country Music festival.  It’s much more than just a brewfest.  It’s also a concert.  And, this year, it’s all about Country.  Yes, come and enjoy the music of two of the top Country bands in all of New England.  The Tammy Jackson Band, one of the most popular Country Bands in New England, will get you dancing with a wide array of today’s Country hits as well as some of your favorite classics.  The Tammy Jackson Band has performed all along the Eastern Seaboard and will delight you with their Country flair.  One of the nation’s bright, young, rising stars, Shelby Lyn Rogers, will highlight the concert.  Shelby, only 15 years old, has one numerous state, regional and national awards and has been named as the Female Vocalist of the Future.  You get to see her now at the Olde New England Day Brewfest.

The event will also feature some great food and exhibits and is a night you won’t want to miss.

It all takes place from 4-10 p.m., right off Main Street.  Admission is only $15 and gets you six sample tickets.  Special admission prices will be available for the Designated Drivers.

Thank you to all the volunteers and sponsors who made this great day possible. See you in 2008.
