Tube Time at Loon Mountain

Thank you to everyone who participated in this fantastic, fun filled evening. See You in 2008!

Tube TimeThe Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Loon Mountain are sponsoring the Annual Tube Time event on Thursday, March 1 from 5-10 p.m. with the last tube rented at 8:40 p.m.

For only $15 per person, you’ll not only get one hour of tubing with the new tubes that you can steer and stop, but also get to enjoy all the other night’s activities. These include ski movies in the Octagon Base Lodge, plenty of free refreshments donated by generous local businesses, music and more.

You must be eight years-old to ride the chairlift for tubing.  However, Loon offers a walk-up tubing park for the youngsters with a reduced price of $9.

But, that’s not all.

The Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce plans to have several pair of ski lift tickets to Cannon and Loon to give away that will surely please all those who attend this annual event.

“This event has been a nice ‘pick-me-up’ during the school vacation week,” said Brian McCarthy, Executive Director of the Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. “Tubing is a lot of fun. If there is anyone out there who hasn’t gone night tubing, this is the time to try it."

Tickets will be available the night of Tube Time at the Little Sister Tubing Office with the food and movies in the Octagon Lodge cafeteria for you to enjoy before or after your tubing adventure.

If you have never tried snow tubing, you should. It is a fun-filled thrill for the entire family and young and old alike enjoy the finely manicured tubing hill at the popular Loon Mountain Resort. Those who have tried tubing in the past keep coming back for more. Don’t miss out on this great chance to try it for yourself and enjoy all the food and prizes for one low price.

This event will benefit the Lincoln-Woodstock Chamber of Commerce. For more information, you can call the Chamber at (603) 745-6621 or visit them online at www.lincolnwoodstock.com. You can learn more at Loon’s website at www.loonmtn.com/info/winter/gravity.asp.
