Licensing Information
Couples wanting to marry in NH must appear together at the town/city clerk’s office, as the signatures of both are required. The license fee is $45. (The license is not valid until 3 days after it has been issued and then remains valid for 90 days from original date of issue.) When applying for the license both applications will have to show proof of age and if either applicant has been previously married a death certificate, divorce decree or annulment decree from former spouse must be supplied.
